Strawberry Cryptid (abandoned project)

Go on a date with a Lovecraftian horror! You found a strange book left on your doorstep, and carelessly read the first page you saw out loud. Next thing you knew, you were waking up in an unfamiliar restaurant with a strange man, and find out the world is... ending?! Because you read a summoning book for going on dates with these things? Oh god, what have you got yourself into this time?

Strawberry Cryptid's eventual full release plans to have 3 separate endings.

I haven't actually successfully finished any project, so I joined a jam with the intent to actually finally finish a project (did not) and get past the concept stage. It's a mix of romance and horror, being inspired by Sucker for Love. I just thought it'd be a fun project, and saw the game jam so here we are! This game was made entirely by me, I went solo for this project and likely will for future projects as well. All music was created within beepbox, sprites and backgrounds were drawn in Medibang Paint and Firealpaca!
